Almost three years later

I was talking to some friends today and I got reminded of this blog. I decided to take a stroll down memory lane.

Wow, first things first, my English was terrible! Not like it's any better now, but I am glad I did not punctuate like a typical asian, like.... this... or maybe ~~~, and with loads of ^^^^.

Three years from my last post, I have done a lot and been through so much, what with a long-term relationship, making new friends, being away from family for such a long time, discovering myself etc.

Looking back, there are some parts of me that never changed and there are some things that I thought I would never do or become, in a good way of course.

I am at uni now and life has never been better. I've met a bunch of awesome latin and ballroom dancers and am dancing with an amazing girl. I have never looked back since.

When will I come back to this blog again, I don't know, but I am glad I just did and till then, all the best at life you silly Asian!

I don't know. I think i just jumped on the mood swing bandwagon.

I can be really happy for one moment, and just turn into drop dead silence mode. I even started scolding people when i was playing football. OH MY GOD !

What if i really graduated and practised law? I think that career is going to encourage me to be barking at whoever pisses me off, and clipping the heels of whoever i dislike.

I just kept thinking about the mistakes I made during the past few papers, and I felt they were so stupid.

I should let it go. But I still haven't learned how to.

That was quite a day to remember, because it was the first time i played strip football.

Ok i went to the park, and there were only 3 other guys. We played a 2 on 2 and we decided to make it interesting. Whoever concedes 5 goals have to take one piece of clothing off.

Round one :
I LOST ! So i had to play with my shirt off. haha. You better thank youself you were not there to witness the horror.

So my team mate decided to up the challenge and said if we lost the second game we gotta play with our shorts off ! It got me so damn worried ! Haha. But the opposition were so confident they agreed.

Round two :
We won! Shirts back on, shirts off for them.

Round three:
We won AGAIN ! The refused to take off their pants, and after much debating with my really pushy teammate, they agreed to roll on the floor from one end of the court to the other. The chinese guy was so reluctant to roll, he took his pants off at first, but decided to roll instead.

And so the game goes on...

Round four :
We won again ! This time they really played with their pants off ! And there was this guy who played with his white underwear and he looked like a big baby running around the court. HAHA !
And everytime we're about to score, we delay the game just so they would run around in their underwear longer.

OMG I'M NOT GAY OK !

So we were fooling around and just messing with the underwear guys, and suddenly, the guy in the underwear started running towards his clothes,

" FUCK WEI, MY MOM ! "

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA !!!!

Anyways a year ago on May 23rd, i remember going for tuition and driving there for the first time.

It was the same day Qing's mom celebrated her birthday.

I've been late for classes a few times is it, I do admit, this is a fact, but this is by far the one i am scared the most

Anyways, yesterday was Mr. Lim's last class with us. Stuwents, can you imagine, a great teacher-friend who gave you advice straight to your face without beating round the bush, telling you that you are not playing the games hard enough, and then feels sorry in the end he apologizes, because actually he know we all is good stuwents.

A great lecturer indeed.

And to send us off for a great examination, he gave us these each.

Plus he made this whole speech about how we should be respectable people who use the brains, people who do not do no standard things to get results etc. Oh darn it set the waterworks on a few girls.

Anyways Mr. Lim is one teacher who has success in making us better people of the world.

If someone were to ask me what did i think of a-levels, i prevoiusly said " ahh, constantly do your work and you should be fine. "

Now i've come to end of it I'll definitely change my advice. Because in paper 6 ( last paper of a-levels ), the fabulous synoptic paper comes into play. It includes topics from THE WHOLE A-LEVELS SYLLABUS ! Worst part is, they ask you petty petty stuff from topics you studied a year ago, and they give you two marks for it!

OMG. I laugh at myself doing the past year questions. I know nuts. I think i can tell ashley and marey kate olsen apart better. ( actually i can't )

Anyways good luck in your exams fellow a-levelers !

p.s why is the font on my blog always so huge. I feel like i'm those kids who need HUGE fonts and pictures just so they read the story book. haha.

I read a blog recently and the author hated gays, lesbians, maybe homosexuals in general terms.

He hated them with everysingle beat of his heart, and he even wrote a few posts about it ( his feelings, i didnt mean to call homosexuals IT ). It was so controversial, google/blogger flagged his blog and put on a ' content warning' before u could enter his blog. haha

We all know our favourite modelling show on tv is America's Next Top Model, and we all know that it obviously involves lots and lots of GIRLS !

But without fail its always so over dramatic, but i understand if there is family trouble and she cries because she's too far away and she misses home.

But what about those who are fit, healthy, beautiful ( thats the only reason the got in ), and happy, they ALWAYS tend to end up a bitchy lady. Its like they have this switch that turns on their bitchy mode.

I await the day a contestant brings peace. Perhaps sprinkle holy water onto people with a jasmine flower, like how the buddhist monks do. Haha. Oh wait, i think that kinda contestant would rather do a bridge and a split in yoga class, maybe light some therapeutic aroma in her home, y'know, can you imagine? :)

When you know your dad gets cool

So he made me go Temerloh with him because recently his granduncle passed away and he had to sell off the house.

Temerloh is such a laid back town.

I was buying bags of garlic and onions and the lady at the convenient store actually printed the receipt and double checked it. Haha

People in KL would be like keyinitemcollectmoneyprintreceiptreturnchange. So swift that i had to say it in one breath. :)

So anyway, I refused to go at first, until i stepped out of my house and saw this parked at the front.

Obviously this is not my house, but my point is, how cool is it when u get to drive a Mitsubishi Evo 7, ON THE HIGHWAY, sadly it was an auto transmission, but oh well what the heck, an Evo is an Evo.

So i started off the journey to Temerloh at 7.30 and there was not many cars on the highway.

It is cool when your dad says ' Step on it '.

( See i did put how fast i went at first, but i decided not to for various reasons, ask me when u see me )

Anyways, the speedometer only had the speed limit till 180 because in Japan the government limits the speed at 180 on most of its cars. If the car wasn't modified, it will get cut off at 180km/h. What happens on this car is that they cut off the bypass, making the car able to go more than that.

Oh i have really poor driving skills, i lost to a Toyota Altis on the hills near Genting, can you believe it, he raced me, and he beat me, FLAT !

When i got home later in the evening and drove my cute little Rav 4 out, it just wasn't the same. Haha.

Omg today is just the worst of all. I'm talking about the weather.

Its been terrible. I've been sweating just watching tv. Amazing. And now i'm also sweating from typing this, eventhough the fan's on at " 4th gear ".

Tomorrow would be the last day of my exams. OMG, can't wait ! SO i can do all the things i want, maybe i can paint my toe nails and share my feelings. COOL HUH !

I can sleep all i want and eat all i want ( ok maybe not eat cuz its fat ), play all i want. WOOHOO

But i still hate the weather because its been terribly hot the past few days. GAWD. Makes my skin all itchy and red. EWWW..

Kids going tuition

I was early to pick my brother up from tuition when i started seeing students from the next class starting to arrive.

At first i was just looking, and then i realise i used to be like them, going for tuitions after school. SO KIASU ! haha

There are few kinds of students :

1) The Kiasu type.
- No offense, but you do get those nerdy types going for tuition. I mean they already know the book inside out, 365 times yet they still go tuition.

2 ) The one with lots of hope for the future.
- These are ones where the mother drops them off, face glistening with hope and thinking "ah, my son/daughter is going to be a so and so in the future - TUITION"

3 ) The ones that come in girl gangs.
-They usually have a pretty one ( She will act like the boss ), and a few in their posse. They have BEAUTIFULLY DECORATED notepads with highligter ink all over the place. Don't forget fancy pencil cases with even fancier keychains to match.

4) The there-but-not-so-there type.
- Andrew NG Chee Tat, sound familiar anot ? We use to go tuition, knowing nothing much half the time, and only study "hard" closer to exam.

5) Go tuition to see girls.
- I saw one who came down with MASSIVE amount of hair gel. You get the idea. Just to get a little attention from the nicest, prettiest looking opposite sex in the room.
-Then there was one who came in school uniform. Obviously he's coolness level is quite limited due to the white and green school uniform. SO the minute he got down the car, he pulled he's shirt out. " I think chicks don't dig guys in school uniforms" He thinks. Honestly i think uniforms are quite cool, i mean they are so nice and white and uniform, NOT .

6) Those whose brother picks them up from tuition and makes weird observations.
- There was this one kid whose brother was driving a RAV4 and was waiting for him outside.

OMG, i was looking at the mirror when i saw this person. :p

I had a very eventful 2nd day of 2008.

I was trying to save the ball from a cheapskate goal, so i tried catching it.

Just i was reaching for it, my fingers were halfway into the goal mouth when Hong Yao ( not sure of spelling ) pulled his defense men across my THUMB !

OK la, slight numb feeling, no big deal ma. Ha-ha. Try getting a second look and you can see outside of my thumbnail came out of its 'pocket'. OUCH !

After that, instead of panicking, i acted kinda weird. I went all pale, blood was rushing away from my head, i felt so light-headed. I couldnt even see Chua standing in front of me ! I saw stars !

Know that line ' scared the shit outta me ' ?

Oh ho ho, I in fact DID go to the toilet to shit ! Seriously, i didn't know what was going on !

So what did the doctor do ?

1. Sprayed some numbing gel - didn't work well
2. Injected 'local' onto my thumb - where all the receptors are, TWICE !
3. Used tweezer like thingy to FORCE my nail back into the 'pocket'
4. Charge me a big deal of money.
5. Bought a new monthly sports car with the money.

Haha. I made the last part up.

Driving in the rain

Why are there still people out there driving with their HAZARD LIGHTS in heavy rain.

Hazard lights are the one where both signal lights come on simultaneously. Don't be confuse with HIGH BEAM, which in fact is the one you turn on when travelling in an extremely dark area.

It is really misleading to drive with your hazard lights on, as that light is supposed to be used when you have to stop by road.

Well, i was playing football at Astaka PJ and i saw a bunch of African people playing football.

Ok the funny thing is this, we have all seen hot and muscular African people, or they're either sort of fat, but in a way still strongly fat, fatly strong, whatever.

I mean come to think of it, have u seen a NERD african dude ? NO way !

They either have a cool Adebayor corn roll do, or a Samuel Eto' bald. Never have seen a bucktooth, spectacle wearing, shirt tugging "brother".

So back to Astaka, the dudes were playing shirtless, and all of a sudden they started screaming at each other because of a dispute in front of their goal.

Ok so then i thought, imagine if they all acted in 300 !

Being fit and confident of yourself

I guess all these years i've top the obesity chart really well, and i've finally decided to step down.

Many said i slimmed down. Well, i would say thanks, but i don't think you've actually seen what's underneath my shirt. haha.

Its like, i don't have to do the wave, yet i CAN do the wave on my stomach just by jumping around i would say ?

That bad.

So yeah and i've also got like people asking me how i lost weight ?

Thing is, i was REALLY huge back then, yet i exercised regularly. But it didnt really help me, and i mean only ME , much. Well, thats mainly because i eat every meal as if its the last !

So what actually helped me was, doing cardiac workout on a regular basis ( simpler terms : run until cannot run la ! ), have your meals in a smaller proportion than before. I had time after SPM to play football ALOT , so i guess thats where it actually helped me.

But then again, i realised although i exercised but I didnt seem to get smaller, so i switched my attention to my food intake.

1 ) never NEVER skip meals
2 ) eat healthy regularly, BUT LESS CARBS
3 ) no snacks or junk food in between
4 ) NO SUPPER !

Patience and dedication is really important to really achieve as above.

* this only applies to people who were like me. All YOU SLIM PEOPLE CAN EAT AS MUCH AS YOU WANT ! *

I guess being fit is really important nowadays, its not just having that body to die for, I personally feel its more important for health purposes. But of couse, having that body to die for is the reward behind all of these.

And I noticed ALOT of corporate men tend to not exercise because ' they don't have time ', which i believe only half of it actually.

To all guys, i think its rather important u stay in shape, because we're always victimised by the oh-so-famous tagline ' UGLY GUY with a hot chick' .

How about we switched it to ' Fit guy with a hot chick' .

Although this might sound really ridiculous, but i think, if you were to stay in shape, and top it all off with a really toned body, I guess it would make your spouse / soulmate / loved one, really proud of you.

I certainly would be !! I hope vice versa applies. * hint *

I personally think woman who grow old and try to maintain themselves should sort of be rewarded one way or another. As you can see, many rich men have really HOT WIVES, but they ? Dude, they carry a beer belly man !

I am certainly in no position to comment about others as I don't even have a Jon Johnson ( Manhunt ) body myself, but this is what i thought of recently, and came to realise it is actually pretty important, yet we seldom think about it.

U know whats mine ? I dont really have a pathway i'm headed for career wise, but i think i have an interest in things like hair and make up, clothings, shoes stuff like that.

What i really like is, to see a woman turn beautiful. Imagine a girl in need of make up and a good remake over, she walks into a hair salon and a beauty palour. Moments later, she walks out looking like a goddess, making men turn heads.

I think women are like a works of art. Every detail is crucial from the brows to the heels.

You know that scene from Princess Diaries when Anne Hathaway turned so pretty, thats what i'm talking about.

To think about all of those in Malaysia ? I think i rather stop, and learn to grow up.

Something else got me thinking too.

In a year's time from now, i'm going to finish my course in A-levels.

I just cant imagine the day when all my friends leave to different parts of the world.

There wouldn't be the classmates i see now. The ones i hang out with everyday. And the one that matter to me most.

The transition from high school to college did not worry me much. I never had a sense of losing anybody because mostly everybody stayed back in Malaysia.

How about those who got together on romantic terms ? How would they last after college when the girl leaves or rather the guy? Being thousand of miles away is going to be so hard.

How about my family ? I wont get to go Daddy this or Mommy that anymore. I wont see my brothers on a daily basis.

Sometimes i get so angry at them and we voice out at each other.
But why !? Because we take for granted those we love. We are never afraid to lose them because we just cant imagine life without them.

There comes a time where we have to leave our nests and spread our wings.

At 2.00 am. My dad brings me to his showroom.

Apparently, one of his friend's car window was broken and an attempt to steal the car was made. Unfortunately for the burglar, something went wrong and he fled, fortunately for my dad's friend, his car live to see another day with him.

So the car was to brought to my dad's place to be fixed the next day.

See, during high school, i was expose to something called VEET. Its mostly for girls.

Its some magical hair removal cream / mousse / spray. U apply it onto yr skin, minutes later, VOILA ! yr skin alone will make em' boys drool, because its just so smooth and SEXY.

For once in 3 months of college life ....

Meaning to say, i have a 3 day weekend !! haha..

Anyways i've gotten my whole driving thing going on, and today i went for my second lesson.

Honestly, i really very much prefer having to drive a manual car on a daily basis. At least there is something challenging to do in yr car everyday.

But i've gotten alot of feedbacks like :

a ) YEAHH !!! TRY DRIVING IN A JAM
b ) YEAHHH !!! try driving in a jam
c ) YEAHHH !! try driving in a jam

And today i actually YEAH !! TRIED DRIVING IN A JAM, UP HILL SOME MORE !!

And i was taught the slope, 3 point turn, and parking.

My Hairstyle Evolution

Since young i've been wanting rather good hairdos.

But honestly, i think i havent gotten any outstanding ones yet by far. So, its not really a proud thing of mine, haha, but i just want it to be reasonably okaaaaaay la !

Since young, what was in fashion was, i present u, the centre part !

Add in a whole lotta DOUBLE CHIN !

Next there is the normal spikey hair that came famous in Form 3. Back then it was still the kari-macha who did my hair . Kari-macha meaning INDIAN LA ! haha

OK then comes the Salon, run by a chinese si tao poh. Thats when hair started getting better and nicer,and thinner and abit LA LA ! The same ol' long fringe spike back style.

Then when school term ends every year, my hair just grow-dilocks. I mean its not as long as a girl's but, for a guy still attending secondary, it certainly is really-punzel long.

So then came college, and the hair dye came into the picture. I gotten dyed "mahogany" actually, but i think it came out more like " DVD Peddler ".

OH well, i started carrying sling bags and i wondered why no one came up to me and actually gave me 10 bucks, : " MILFs ada ? "

Finally, the whole long fringe thingy had to come to an end, and now i have a rather i-really-duno-whts-it-called hair.

Recently Karleng and co. love going to Miss Read to eat that orgasmic chocolate cake.

But i kinda prefer the chocolate brownie better, cuz its warm and it somehow melts in yr mouth.

That is not my point, because what i wanna say is Starbucks is also releasing its chocolate brownies and it comes with whipped cream on top.

Today i took the Metro bus home instead of the rapidKL.

RapidKL doesnt have a conductor, but Metro does.

Advantages :

Metro - cheaper cuz its only rm1.50, whereas rapid is rm2.00
RapidKL - one ticket can be used the whole day

So, when we came to the Damansara Jaya , or rather Kayu Ara stop, the radio in the bus came up with the islamic prayers.
U know, that " allah uu ah bah, looh uu ah bah".

So then rite, the bus conductor went along and said " Kayu Ara, Kayu Ari , Kayu Aruuuuuu".

hahah. okay, i know its not funny ! but still...

A visit to Sri Cempaka

I actually followed my friend, Kah May, back to Sri Cempaka, Damansara Heights. because we had a 4 hour break before LAN class. Sri Cempaka - ITS SO DARN COOL !!

ok la, maybe cuz i'm not from that school thats why i think its so cool.

it was really damn cool !! no joke la !!

haha. So anyways Sri Cemapaka hallways are filled with fans.

I think i would rather studied in their hallways than have classes in a classroom in Catholic High School.
